Job Queue - Fetch Jira Issues
Purpose
The RdN Fetch Jira Issues job queue entry automatically retrieves new Jira issues and Jira issues that have been updated since the last synchronization. This ensures that Business Central stays up to date with the latest changes from Jira without manual intervention.
How It Works
- The job runs on a scheduled basis through the Job Queue in Business Central.
- It uses the timestamp of the last successful run to fetch only recently updated Jira issues.
- After fetching, it updates the timestamp so future runs continue incrementally.
How to Use
- Set Up the Job Queue
- Go to Job Queue Entries in Business Central.

Create a new entry and select the codeunit:
RdN Fetch Jira Issues (ID: 72832614). -
Schedule the Job
- Define how often the job should run (e.g., every hour or daily), we recommend running the job frequently (5-10 minutes between runs).

Enable the job queue entry.

Verify Time Registration Setup
- Ensure the Jira Last JobQueue Run field in Time Registration Setup is correctly initialized.
