Jira Mappings
Purpose
The Jira Mappings page in Business Central is used to link Jira issues, epics, or project keys with Business Central jobs and job tasks. This integration helps synchronize project management between Jira and Business Central, ensuring accurate tracking of work and financials.
Important Behavior
Jira issues can have parent issues (such as epics or higher-level tasks).
If the parent of a Jira issue has a mapping, then the Jira issue will automatically inherit the mapping of its parent.
This ensures consistency and reduces the need for duplicate mappings.
Page Overview
